Spark Your Creative Fires for Fall

A creative writing retreat in Prince Edward County

As the days shorten and the leaves change colour, our creative lives can go into
hibernation also. But, they don’t have to! A little inspiration can go a long way
towards keeping our creative lights twinkling all through the months ahead.

This retreat will be like a sandbox full of irresistible toys to coax out the sleepy
writer inside of you, and to keep it awake into the months to come. We’ll fill our
days with yummy food, big blue skies and short writing projects, as well as
stretches of silent time to breathe in the fresh air of Prince Edward County, and be.

Come to dream, eat, sleep and create, create, create.

Creative facilitator Chris Kay Fraser, founder and director of Firefly Creative Writing,
is a creative writing group guru who has run hundreds of cozy workshops from her home,
as well as in northern BC, Chile and Northern Ireland. She currently runs weekly classes
in Toronto, a popular correspondence class Memoirs By Mail, two e-classes, a series
of free monthly audio workshops, and she sees budding writers one-on-one. In the words
of one group participant, Chris leaves everyone in her wake feeling amazing and healthy
and radiant.
