Saturday/Sunday May 19 & 20 and Saturday May 26, 10AM – 4PM:
Puppet Making Workshop at Vicki's Veggies Heirloom Tomato Seedling Sale  

81 Morrison Point Road, Milford
Kids of all ages can drop in any time and make a puppet for $5–$10.
All proceeds go to Krista's Puppets Without Borders campaign.

June 2: Banner-raising Party
Join us in raising a new banner on our silo and celebrating the kick-off of our third season!
–with special guests, bluegrass band Alberta Darling.
3 PM: we'll raise the new banner on the silo
4 PM: live music by bluegrass band, Alberta Darling
6 PM: potluck BBQ
7 PM: pinata and cake
8 PM onwards: campfire and general merriment

June 16: Hand Puppet Making & Stilt-walking Workshops
1–5 PM at Small Pond. Drop in at any time and make a puppet ($5/$10)
or learn how to walk on stilts ($10) or BOTH!

July 5–8: Picton Picturefest Reunion

July 13–15:
Puppet Slam Weekend
A weekend for puppeteers to show new work and to connect and collaborate with other puppet people
in a mind-blowingly beautiful country setting in Prince Edward County, Ontario.
Camping: $90; Indoor Accommodation: $120 or $200/couple. All meals included.
Register by July 1 by sending a cheque for the full amount to:

July 22:
Cornography: The Second Popping
Another afternoon of art about our twisted relationship with food.
Seeking artists from all disciplines to participate.

Family Shadow Puppetry Workshop

August 23–25: The History of Shadows and Almost
Shadow puppetry plays for an adult audience presented by Shadow of a Doubt Collective.

September 23:
The Festival of the Stick (a.k.a. Stickfest)
Stick-related art and activities, and the world's first Stick Museum.
Price of admission: 1 stick.

September 28–30:
Firefly Creative Writing: Spark Your Creative Fires for Fall  
A creative writing retreat.

October 6:
Scarecrow Festival
Make your own scarecrow for $20, all supplies provided.

October 25 (date TBC):
Picton Zombie Walk
In partnership with The Picton Library.
