A hand-painted fish sign and bright red door welcome
you to Prince Edward County's Small Pond Arts Gallery,
a charming studio which is all colour, walls covered with the vibrant paintings
of Milé Murtanovski.
Drop by on a sunny
afternoon and you'll likely find the artist at his easel, twirling his moustache
as he paints. Along with evocative portraits,
the diverse works gracing the studio include classic cars, birds on boughs,
local barns - any subject that he considers
beautiful. Milé's passion is for finding the artful in the everyday,
with lots of style and not a hint of snootiness.
